  • Ensure that you have sufficient information of the industry standard for the position which is required. Other things to keep in mind when it comes to titles:

    • Use broad, commonly searched for titles
    • Be Descriptive
    • Include the desired level, Jr., Sr., Mid-Level, etc.
  • A clean, mobile-optimized website will increase the odds of job seekers spending more time looking at your advertised roles. So making your job posting easy to read is key when it comes to increased application conversion. Use bullets and bold type face when needed.

  • When drafting any job description is: Do make sure the job description answers the question, "What do you need this person to do on a daily basis?"  Along with the educational and experience requirements, the post also includes specific skills – such as presentation, management, and collaboration – to make sure that only the right kinds of candidates apply. When creating a job posting, don’t just focus on education and experience. You should also include soft skills, such as personality traits and interpersonal skills

    • Location / Country
    • Salary / Remuneration
    • Working Days / Working Time/ Overtime/ Travelling if needed
  • Today’s candidates don’t just want to know what the job duties are. They want to know what it’s like having a role in your company and how the role matters in the grand scheme of things.

Share what it’s like to work for your company. Give job seekers an idea not only of the position itself, but also of the impact this position will make within your company.

  • Lastly, on't forget to include a call to action at the end of your job post. Make it short and simple and in the same as your job description, but let the reader know what you'd like them to do next.
